Printer Cartridge Recycle Facts:
Over three hundred million cartridges are thrown in the trash each year.
One laser cartridge can take over 450 years to begin to decompose.
3 quarts of oil are used for every laser cartridge produced.
Almost 8 cartridges are thrown away per second in the U.S. alone.
Every remanufactured cartridge saves 3 lbs. of solid waste from being deposited in landfills.
70% of all printer cartridges are currently being thrown out.

RECYCLE PROGRAM - REWARDS FOR RE-USING!!!

We have restructured our entire recycle program in order to raise more money for our program participants!

Inkjet and laser toner cartridges are an ever-growing problem for landfills. The vast majority of them are thrown away after only one use, when in fact, they can be recycled and reused multiple times over.

At Cartridge World, our new program allows an organization to raise funds by helping us educate their constituents on how to...

*Save Money and Sustain our Environment through the practice of "Re-use".

HOW IT WORKS

When an individual comes in to Cartridge World and purchases a refilled cartridge, they will SAVE MONEY compared to big box office supply stores.  If they mention their affiliation with our recycle program participant (ie "Hey, I heard about you through Holland Christian Schools"), then Cartridge World will donate 10% of the transaction's value back towards the recycle program!!!

When a business comes in to Cartridge World and purchases a refilled or remanufactured cartridge, they will also save money and we will donate between 1 and 3% of the transaction back towards the recycle program participant depending on the items in the transaction.

WHO IT BENEFITS

EVERYONE!  Now...

  •  Individuals and businesses can save money on their printer cartridge expenses by working with us.
  • Recycle Program Participants (schools & churches, etc) will receive more money than they used to in the old program, plus they do not have to deal with empty cartridges laying around their offices.
  • The environment gets a little less "dumped on" becuase the more refilled and remanufactured cartridges that are being purchased, the less they are being thrown away!

REQUIREMENTS

  1. The non-profit organization that will be receiving money must purchase their printer cartridges from us.  (This is the smart thing to do anyway!)
  2. The non-profit organization must be willing to help us promote the program to it's constituents and/or parent group.

HOW DOES MY SCHOOL OR CHURCH SIGN UP?

Our Recycle Program Coordinator is Stacie Hoey, she would be happy to meet with you and discuss in more detail how your group can benefit from our great program.  Call the Holland store at 616.928.0966 to reach her.
